My Bio
Weapons Grade Cyber Punk, Gothic Industrial, Rivet Head Accessories and Post Apocalyptic Zombie Protection!

I'm an artist and fabricator that enjoys building interesting things based on and inspired by different types of edged and bladed weapons, technology, science fiction, horror and postapocalyptia. I enjoy creating props and gear from different types of innovative materials and building "industrial" art pieces.

I enjoy industrial music and the growth of the Cyber Goth / Rivet Head culture has been of interest to me since the 80's. I have a fascination with edged weapons, guns, electronics, spikes and all things that are generally considered dangerous. I was asked a while back to build a custom item for a friend attending a party because I was handy with fabrication and had made props and costumes in the past, and that started the ball rolling.

I have now started building a full series of prototypes of Cyber Goth masks to populate a dedicated website (selfinflictedapparel.com) for custom gear. I take a great deal of pride in building high quality "hero" pieces for photography and close scrutiny.

What I'm posting here on DeviantART are prototypes and are the models for making pieces to sell on my website. If you see a piece (or components) that you like, please contact me, as some of the parts I use are recycled or have limited availability and in some cases can not be acquired again.

Thank you for looking at my designs. I love to build custom pieces for people. Feel free to contact me if anything strikes you, or to offer critiques, suggestions and input. Constructive criticism and suggestions are welcomed as I am trying to build on what will be popular for my website.

Just got back on track to continue my prototype work. I've been collecting parts for about 6 new mask designs. I've also constructed some new ampules that have an interchangeable mechanical base, allowing the owner to switch UV reactive liquid colors easily, plus it just looks cool.  I have also built up some new circuit designs for electronic effects for both masks and goggles. Currently I'm deciding on what back end PHP engine to use on the website. I'm debating on abilities and features vs. the ease of customization and quick deployment. People have expressed interest in ordering masks and goggles so I will have to integrate a shopping ca

I've received a shipment of 6 circuit boards from a vendor for my prototype UV meters. I'm soldering my components and experimenting with some of the values to create specific effects. I have created a compact design that will run for several hours on a single 9volt battery. I'm using an 8.4 volt rechargeable to insure that the design can operate with a rechargeable battery and lower voltages. It's working well and the display is great, but I will need to build in two modes of audio sensitivity; one for normal voice and another for nightclubs and concerts. The final display effect looks like the evil version of the Knight Rider car "K.A.R.R.

Currently designing and building up new electronic effects for Cyber Goth / Rivet Head Respirator masks. Finishing a "breathing" LED circuit, chaser sequencers and voice reactive VU meters.

Your prototypes are so damn amazing! So beautiful and detailed. I love your work :)
I'd like to buy some stuff if you're still active.
Are you guys there at all? I have the money to buy a mask sitting in my bank account eagerly waiting...please... :tears:
Yes, we just finished a relocation to Las Vegas VN. I will get things organized and will look at beginning some new projects.
Yay!! Please let me know when you're able to start on it!! :)
Thanks for the fav! :la:
neat stuff.
quite refined and polished.

should you get sick of replacing 2032's after each use; look into li-pol batteries. (im a total convert)
